Completely original except for:

-added rear fender guards (removable if desired, but they help a lot with rocks). -3.75 rear end gears (have original 3.45s if desired. Car is easier to drive around town with the new gears. Speedometer properly regeared.) -Flowmaster cat-back exhaust (have original) -RC fuel injectors (stock size) -Stainless brake lines (even have these OE parts if you want :^) -K&N air filter (don't have the original) -Replacement GM plug wires (no LT-5 logo), have originals w/logo which are still good, and hard to get.

ZR-1 Standard equipment- 6-speed transmission, power leather seats, selective ride control, Delco Bose CD/Tape/stereo sound system, power windows/doors, etc.

All original except battery and fuel injectors which have been replaced with 1993 new injectors to except ethanol fuel.

This car will not disappoint, black interior perfect and drivers seat show virtually no wear as exocentric owner (me) always sat on soft towel and took care on entry exits (pics). Black paint exceptional. Both tops, clear and black in excellent condition.

Original windshield has always been very good. Goodyear F1 Supercar tires original sizes, like new. Wheels in excellent condition.

Several Mobil One oil changes were performed during first 2000 miles. Amsoil Synthetic oil since 2000 miles changed every 2- 3000 miles to present.

Service manuals (3) and perfect owners manual to go with the car. Second set of keys and key fob in kit never used. No mods other than "prom" for cooling fans (original prom in ziplock). Additional pictures available. Daytona Beach Florida

Suspension package less coil over shocks, DRM Modified Rear Steering Knuckles, DRM Rear Camber Brackets, DRM Trailing Arm Brackets, everything that DRM offers for the suspension was done to this car except for coil overs. Has watson headers and older flowmaster exhaust. All new accel fuel injectors all new gaskets through out. 4.09 rear end. Engine is powder coated in black chrome but will need to be redone as something got onto it I think it was brake cleaner that misted onto it, And left some spots so it is not perfect.

Comes with clear top, But I have a solid top I can include that is dark red from another ZR1 that will need headliner work and of course paint.

The bad....

Car needs complete paint job unfortunately I couldn't get to this paint work completed before I left home. I have a complete set of GM weather-stripping that can be negotiated for less than GM prices, if your going to paint it right you need to remove the weather-stripping. stereo does not work, and all speakers are removed at this time.

The black carpet is a replacement from ACC and the passenger side was cut wrong, So you can see some of the insulation around the speaker area I would replace the carpet.

Car does not come with seats, I can include the red sports seats that I have for a extra cost that we can talk about.

I was going to change the interior over to a red interior I had from another ZR-1 I parted out. Again I just didn't get around to it just like the paint, I was hoping to have the work done before I left for Iraq but I thought I had a deal to sell the car as is so I didn't do the work but I haven't heard from that buyer so I'm offering it up here. This is why the carpet was going to be replaced and the seats were going to be replaced so it is what it is.

Car will need tires fronts are ok rears need replacing.

Car runs and drives I was using it for a daily driver for the last 2,000 miles.

Overall good car if someone wants a good ZR1 project that has a lot of the go fast goodies done already.

This car has no catalytic converters installed and all the air parts have been removed.

Condition Exterior:

The car has always been garaged and has probably only been driven in the rain a handful of times. I don’t know about the original owner, but the guy I bought it from in Fort Smith AR kept it in a Climate Controlled Garage at his house along with some other very fine collector cars. The paint has the amount of rock chips you would expect for a car with this many miles. I spent $500 to have the car buffed and waxed by the best guy in Memphis (Joe Christian). There are a few stress cracks (small) near the tag insert on the nose that are no big deal to me (and I am a perfectionist) but in the interest of full disclosure etc… The glass is pristine with no water spots and the WINDSHIELD has delamination around the edges but not in the field of vision. The front spoiler is 95% +

Condition Interior:

Except for some smoothness of the steering wheel, it is PERFECT. Driver bolster shows minimal sign of wear.

I have spent a lot of money on tasteful mods and general maintenance improvements. I am a consummate perfectionist and so was the previous owner. I sold the original wheels and tires and sensors and I removed the LTPWS light bulb from the DIC. I have pics to prove that the original owner had the original Goodyear GSCs on the car and they were EVEN wear on the front and rear which made it obvious (given the power of the car) that the car has never ever been abused. I replaced the wheels and tires with GM new rear A-mold wheels and a nice set of preowned G front A Molds and new Goodyear GSD3 tires( they have around 4k miles)

I have included a scan of all the work done by Mike Ebert at ESS.. feel free to call him and ask anything you like about the car.

The car runs as it should and is strong. No Codes.. etc…drives straight and true. Radio and CD player work and all lights bells and whistles work. FX3 works.

The Bad:

The only issues with the car are the driver lumbar motor diaphragm needs to be replaced (I repaired it once, but my repair failed because I suck at repairing things) so I know that is all it needs.

The driver motorized side bolster does not work at all, I have never investigated it.

Last, the main seal between the motor and tranny needs to be replaced, there is a few drips of oil after you drive the car. It is no big deal and anyone competent can replace it.

The button on the passenger door and the button in the center console to open the rear hatch don’t work…just the driver’s button.

AND THAT IS IT…not bad for a C4. I have fixed or replaced EVERYTHING. At the risk of building the car up too much, I cannot see why anyone would not be overly pleased with this ZR-1. It is really nobody’s business why I am selling, but it will probably be the first or second post after this so it comes down to my not having time and energy for upkeep on an older car I am ready to move on to something different, although this is and will always be my favorite Corvette ever.

I have a copy of the carfax (all is well) . I have flexible hours and can pick anyone up at the airport. IF it isn’t raining, I can bring it to Bowling Green to the C4 gathering and deliver it to the buyer this week if someone wants to jump on it. The car is spotless inside, outside, and underside….the pictures speak for themselves.
